OI Analytical’s line of unique GC detector products continues to expand. Since introducing the Electrolytic Conductivity Detector (ELCD) for analyzing halogenated VOCs in water and soils, our GC detector line has grown to a market-leading position with additional stand-alone detectors and the revolutionary, patented tandem detector design. The tandem design eliminates transfer lines, which improves performance while occupying only one detector port. Our tandem detectors include the Photoionization Detector (PID)/ELCD, the PID/Flame-Ionization Detector (FID), and the PID/Halogen Specific Detector (XSD™).
The latest advance in flame photometric detector technology, the Pulsed Flame Photometric Detector (PFPD), has proven itself to be the detector of choice for extremely low-level, highly-selective detection of sulfur- and phosphorus-containing compounds. All detectors install on most makes and models of GCs.
